Siobhan Stagg | Soprano

With a voice of ‘angelic purity and beauty’ (The Age), soprano Siobhan Stagg is one of Australia’s brightest emerging artists.

Siobhan performed at Opera by the Lock, Opera in the Alps and Opera in the Market in 2007 as Australian Music Events’ ‘Scholar of the Year’. Since then, Siobhan’s performance career continues to flourish in Australia and overseas.

In 2011 Siobhan won both First Prize and the Audience Choice Award at the Meistersinger Vocal Competition in Graz, Austria. In 2012, Siobhan will perform a solo recital, “Melba’s Legacy: a Tribute on Australia Day” in New York City. Siobhan is featured on the debut album of baroque trio, Latitude 37, which was nominated for Best Classical Album in the 2011 ARIA Awards.
