Visitors to Federation Square will hear a feast of beautiful music as 30 young singers show us why they are the 2010 Opera Scholars Australia.
Some of these young singers will perform a solo item. Three will then be selected as finalists and each will get the opportunity to sing at either Opera in the Alps, Opera by the Lock and Opera in the Market (one scholar will perform at each event). One of these young singers will be announced as the Opera Scholar of the Year on the last night of Opera in the Market and receive $2,000.
