Opera Scholars Australia Cocktail and Opera Evening

A very special Cocktail and Opera Evening will take place on Sunday 8 August 2010 at Queen's Hall, Parliament of Victoria. Enjoy a taste of glorious opera by the Opera Scholars Australia in this beautiful venue followed by canapes and cocktails. Ms Yvonne Kenny, AM, Patron, will host the event. Cost: $110 per person. This is a fundraising event for Opera Scholars Australia.

Opera Scholars Australia in Concert

Australian Music Events and the Rotary Club of Milawa/Oxley present the Opera Scholars Australia in Concert. Visitors will be treated to a feast of beautiful music as 30 of Victoria's most promising young vocalists take to the stage singing beautiful arias including duets, trios and choruses from well-known operas.

Opera Scholars Australia Springtime Concert 2010

When: Sunday 19 September 2010 at 3.00pm.

Visitors to Federation Square will hear a feast of beautiful music as 30 young singers show us why they are the 2010 Opera Scholars Australia.

Some of these young singers will perform a solo item. Three will then be selected as finalists and each will get the opportunity to sing at either Opera in the Alps, Opera by the Lock and Opera in the Market  (one scholar will perform at each event). One of these young singers will be announced as the Opera Scholar of the Year on the last night of Opera in the Market and receive $2,000.
