Welcome to Australian Music Events 2008 / 2009 Season.

We are delighted to present a season of wonderful events coming up over the next year, starting with the Australian Vocal Scholars Springtime Concert in September.

We are proud to present the return of world-renowned soprano - Yvonne Kenny, at Opera in the Market in March and Opera Australia mezzo soprano - Roxane Hislop at Opera in the Alps and Opera by the Lock.

Two international instrumentalists, Jane Rutter and Slava Grigoryan, will feature at the Lock and the Alps respectively.

We welcome back by popular demand tenor Roy Best to Opera by the Lock and as special guest at the Scholars Concert at Federation Square. Another exciting young tenor - James Egglestone will feature at Opera in the Alps and Opera in the Market.

In presenting beautiful music in beautiful and unusual places we hope to stimulate and challenge talented young orchestral players, singers and choristers, and to attract new audiences to experience leading Australian and International artists. 

We do hope to see you at one or more of these events in 2008/2009.
