Principal Sponsor Announced for Opera in the Alps

Australian Music Events is delighted to announce that Ramsay Health Care is to be the new Principal Sponsor of Opera in the Alps. In signing off the sponsorship, Ramsay Health Care has agreed to a two-year commitment ensuring that this premium regional event continues into the future.

In 2012 the January 21 event will feature James Morrison, tenor Boyd Owen (from the Ten Tenors), soprano Helena Dix (the first OITA Scholar of the Year now performing in Europe), Guy Noble, OSAVOCE and soloists from the Opera Scholars Australia program, a 100 voiced choir and the acclaimed Alpha Sinfonia orchestra.

With this exciting lineup and support, a large crowd is expected on January 21, 2012 - the tenth year at Beechworth.

Auditions for the 2012 / 2013 Opera Scholars Australia Program

Interest in the Opera Scholars Australia Program continues to grow from year to year.  Applications have now closed but  will re-open for young singers to take part in the program in 2012 / 2013 in April 2012.
