Choir Participation for Opera in the Alps 2011
Australian Music Events invites singers to join the choir for the Opera in the Alps on Saturday 15 January 2011. Choir members will experience four full days of workshops in Beechworth, rehearsing concert repertoire in combination with vocal technique, under the guidance of experienced tutors and repetiteurs.
Please note: All registrations and payments are due by Friday 17 September 2010.

Cost
$200 Registration fee
$90 Partner registration fee (includes morning & afternoon teas; a ticket to the Scholars' Concert and Dress Rehearsal). Friends/family of choristers wishing to be volunteers will be entitled to a ticket in the BYO chair area.
Auditions
Due to the increased demand for places at this popular event, auditions are required for applicants who have not performed in an Australian Music Events choir in the last 2 years.

Accommodation (for choir members)
Accommodation is available on-site at La Trobe at Beechworth and the price includes a cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and the Saturday night supper. Complimentary morning and afternoon tea will also be served during your stay. Vouchers for the meals will need to be collected from La Trobe at Beechworth during registration between 10am and 11am on Wednesday 12 January, 2011.
All on-site accommodation is to be booked directly through La Trobe at Beechworth by Sunday 28 November, 2010 on 03 5720 8050.
