Graeme Wall

Graeme Wall

Director

Graeme found success early in his operatic career, winning the prestigious Sydney Sun Aria and later an Arts Council Scholarship which enabled him to spend four years studying and working in London. After returning to Australia, Graeme sang regularly with the ABC and was appointed principal tenor of Victoria State Opera, a post he enjoyed for ten years. After re-evaluating the demands of his vocation and a growing family, Graeme completed his Bachelor of Education at La Trobe University – complementing his Bachelor of Music from The University of Melbourne – and subsequently spent many rewarding years as Director of Music at Eltham College. He now focuses his energy towards Australian Music Events.

Margot Cory-Wall

Margot Cory-Wall

Co-Director

Margot is a former recipient of the Melba Scholarship from the Melba Conservatorium, Melbourne, and the winner of the highly regarded ABC Concerto and Vocal Competition (now The ABC Symphony Australia Young Performers Award). She furthered her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and enjoyed a successful career as a soloist with the Victoria State Opera, the ABC, as well as prominent choirs in Melbourne and Sydney. Margot was able to combine her singing career with teaching and served for many years as the Music Director of Grimwade House, the junior school campus of Melbourne Grammar School. Margot has now joined the Australian Music Events team on a full-time basis.

Jacqui Doyle

Events Coordinator

Jacqui spent many years in dance performing and teaching. She attended the National Theatre Ballet School and Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and later the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduating with a Diploma in Dance.  A knee injury saw her change direction and she gained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia majoring in Theatre and Music and then a Diploma in Arts Management from WAAPA. Since then she has worked as Senior Administrator at Perth Institute of Contemporary Art, General Manager of Effie Crump Theatre and Funding Manager at Community Arts Network WA. In 2007 Jacqui moved back to Melbourne and joined Australian Music Events in October.
